This project serves as a technical case study demonstrating the professional workflow from raw handheld slam LiDAR data to high-precision BIM deliverables. The objective was to showcase how Synthesis VDC transforms complex point cloud data into a clean, actionable digital environment for architects and renovation planners.

Raw LiDAR point cloud data was captured using industry-standard terrestrial scanning technology, yielding billions of millimeter-accurate coordinate points.

BIM Synthesis

Synthesis VDC performed comprehensive Revit modeling, including primary structural columns, interior/exterior partitions, and door/window assemblies.

Note on Project Origin: The original point cloud data was provided by the equipment manufacturer to demonstrate the raw LiDAR capability. The Revit modeling, BIM parameterization, drawing layout, and final technical drawing production were executed by Synthesis VDC.

The S20 is not a terrestrial tripod scanner. All Revit modeling, BIM parameterization, and technical drawing production were executed by Synthesis VDC.

A highly accurate digital twin of the building’s structural shell — slabs, columns, beams, structural walls, and primary openings. Modeled to a strict 2cm (20mm) tolerance.

Ideal for: Post-construction structural verification before MEP or architectural fit-out begins. Major deviations and out-of-plumb elements are flagged and modeled.

The result: a workable structural model that guarantees major deviations are caught — preventing expensive cascading errors during fit-out phases.

2. Architectural Essentials ₹5.40/sqft

Builds on the structural core by adding full architectural partitions, ceiling planes, and primary fenestrations (doors and windows). Modeled to 1–2cm architectural tolerance.

Ideal for: Renovation documentation, project handover, or material takeoffs where exact room dimensions are critical.

The result: a trustworthy architectural baseline that eliminates guesswork from material ordering and spatial planning.

3. Interior Fit-out ₹7.20/sqft

The ultimate spatial canvas for interior architects and fit-out contractors. Includes the architectural tier plus fixed interior elements: casework, lighting positions, and floor-to-ceiling clearances. Transient items (loose furniture, temporary decor) are excluded to keep the model lightweight.

Ideal for: Custom millwork, bespoke kitchen cabinetry, or event staging where millimeter-level fit matters.

The result: a designer-ready, clash-free digital environment for overlaying custom interiors with 100% confidence.

4. Digital Twin — Full MEP ₹10.80/sqft

An engineering-grade comprehensive model. Includes all previous tiers plus exposed MEP systems (ducts, pipes, cable trays, mechanical equipment). Enforces a 25mm diameter limit to exclude small flex conduits and keep the model high-performing.

Ideal for: Active industrial facilities, hospitals, or commercial buildings requiring clash detection and long-term facility management.
